  My mom has been living at 5 Star for 3 years and loves it. She has made many new friends and become involved in the many activities offered. She has always said the staff is friendly, caring, and professional. That became evident during the recent preparations for Hurricane Irma. As a family member living in another state, I received numerous e-mails from 5 Star explaining their precautions and plans for dealing with the storm. My initial worry for my mom was turned into assurance that she would be OK. For the duration of the storm, 7 administrators and a number of health aides remained at 5 Star to oversee and care for the residents' needs. They are to be commended for their dedication and commitment to the residents. They did a wonderful job. 5 Stars for 5 Star!
